Founded in 1988, the EKU Honors Program makes the best intellectual resources at EKU available to a limited group of talented and motivated students. Students take honors program classes that replace 21 hours of the general education curriculum and each year, more students from the EKU Honors Program present at the annual meeting of the National Collegiate Honors Council than do students from any other honors program in the nation. Living in the centrally located Sullivan Hall and attending numerous cultural activities together, EKU Honors students form a tight honors community and make friends that last a lifetime.
